I'm tired of brown
It's going to be such a long wait for spring and I'm already tired of seeing the color brown. The sky has been gray and cloudy so I don't even get to see the blues.
So I said to myself suck it up buttercup
If there isn't any color in your life then go out and find some.
If you can't find any than make your own

you dug up pretty flowers. i love the tulip most of all. come on down to Florida, no sign of brown any where here and we have not used our heat since last January.
THEY are saying we may need it four days next week. but we will still be bright, just cool at 47 low 68 high.

I know how you feel, our skies are battleship grey at the moment and lots and lots of rain. I keep telling myself it won't be long before Spring is here. Jan and Feb are the worst months aren't they?

...and beautiful they are!!! I don't want to put a damper on your brown day, but the flowers are blooming here!! Even pansies. :-)
It's 9 here today, so the blooms do brighten my day.I am lucky to have a botanical center to retreat to not far away.
The grey skies compliment my yellow walls; the holly trees are always green and they are loaded with red berries; the grass is still green even tho most of the trees are bare - I'm doing okay. Love your tulip too.
It is unfortunate that we have to endure cold winter weather with dark skies ... but the upside is all the beauty that unfolds in spring blooms! Have faith - spring will be here soon! K

I am sick of the brown too. Those butter cups are a sight for sore eyes.
I'm sick of ugly brown too! The trees would be so much prettier with just a tiny layer of snow. Happy Weekend to you and Duke! :)

Um, are you not forgetting that white is also a color that can be seen up in your parts in great abundance this time of year? May you see a lot more brown than white for the next few months.
it's cold here but still pretty. the sun was out today and will be all week. I don't like gray days or the color gray. lol
