Back to the real world

It's going to be tough going to work this morning and getting back to reality. Since I left work on Sunday I've been nothing but lazy. Just sort of hanging around. Oh and eating.

Not even sure when it started snowing exactly but it started and didn't stop. The city of Erie, last I heard, got a record breaking 53 inches and they declared a snow emergency. I don't live in the city but I do live in Erie county. While we got a good amount of snow (and it's continueing to fall as I type this) it wasn't quite as much as the city.

Once I got home from work on Sunday afternoon, I did not leave my house until it was time to leave for work this morning. I had considered going out to see what I could find at all the after Christmas sales but decided it really wasn't worth it.

53 inches? In how long a period of time? No matter, that's crazy!

Please be safe friend...I don't know how people "do" snow!

hope you got to work ok and the day is kind to you... you have enough snowmen inside your home that you don't need to build one out side..

Wow, that is a lot of snow. I know it is tough enough going back to work, but with weather like you are experiencing, it would really be difficult. Stay safe.

I heard about Erie having that much snow, that is really Erie! haha....sorry, I had to go there!!!! haha...I don't blame you, I would just hang around and chill too. I pretty much did that yesterday till it was time to feed the horses which was not till 3:30. I had to laugh when I read after that much snow you got up and went to work, here in Nashville, that would shut us down.

Going out in the snow is for emergencies only! (Bread and milk! Bread and milk!)

We saw Erie on the news last night and while I love snow and wish we had some - some is the word - not 54" of it! I'm also with you - I was toying with the idea of going out the day after but didn't. It's not like I need more stuff but it's always tempting. Be safe - stay warm, Katie

WOW! You sure got a lot of snow! We got a nice dusting for Christmas, but now the frigid temps have settled in. Ugh. Today is the day that I am thankful for being able to work from home. My "office" is toasty--the fireplace is going, coffee is on, kitties are hanging close....

Stay safe driving in all that snow, Ann!

That's a lot of snow. Too much for me. It's wonderful to stay home when the weather is awful. I would have done the same. I love being home.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches for Gibbs. ♥♥♥

So did you enjoy the white Christmas, or fret about having to drive in it soon? None for us yet.

Just a tiny dusting here today, that's enough for me, I hate the stuff.

It was hard for me to go to work today and I only had to walk from one room to another! Going out in that snow? Uh, ick!

Eating has been my favorite thing lately besides being lazy! I don't have the heart to throw away things I have made or bought but when they are gone I will not be buying anything but fruits and veggies!!! Wow that's a lot of snow. I didn't go out to buy anything after Christmas but I did buy some things online. Happy New Year....
