There is also a vase that he had before we were married. I always told him that it was the ugliest vase ever. Not too long ago I had pulled the vase out and put something in it. He said "I thought you said that was the ugliest vase you ever saw" I told him it was but I was still going to use it.
Now the rose and the ugliest vase ever sit on my dining room table.
Today is my first day back to work. Wish me luck.

I don't LOVE the vase but it is not the ugliest I have seen. the colors are what turn me off not the vase.. they don't go in my house. but with the rose in it, looks nice and does it have a name on it? if so run a search, it might be worth a few bucks, it looks expensive, like a name brand... My mom had a tiny little maple china cabinet that I always hated. Now, I have given away or sold almost all my furniture but that little china cabinet.....it is a cherished piece to me now. Just like your vase/rose. Thankful you made it thru the first day back to work. There will be many "firsts" now but you have us (your blog friends) praying for you along the way. xo
