No need for steps

So I told you yesterday that I sold the pool steps. What I haven't told you about is why I don't need them.
The pool is pretty old. We've had a problem the last couple years with the wall pushing in over the winter. Last summer we put a new liner in it and last winter the wall pushed in, the wind caught the liner and proceeded to rip it to shreds.
This is what the pool looks like right now
I really don't care much about the pool and don't want to be bothered with it. I've offered it free to anyone who comes and takes it down and hauls it away for scrap. I also have to have the shed torn down because the roof caved in on it last winter.
The neighbor across the street came over today and I guess he wants it. So that will take care of that

What a dismal sight! So the neighbor is taking the shed? What about the things inside...I am assuming you have a mower, hose, and some things. I sure hope someone can help take away the pool! Having a house is constant upkeep.

Oh dear...I know all about pools. A LOT of maintenance and it costs quite a bit to keep them up and running! Even though ours is inside...that comes with issues too. So glad your neighbor is taking the shed. One less thing for you to worry about. Did you put the pool on Facebook Marketplace? If you are offering it free...I am sure there will be takers!

That will be nice to have cleaned up. I'm sure it is depressing to look at. Keeping my fingers crossed that someone comes to get it soon.

Not having to worry about these things anymore is a good thing. On step at a time.

Have a blessed day, my friend. Big healing hugs to you and lots of lovies to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I kinda wondered when you said you sold the pool steps. Given the condition it was in, yeah, getting rid of it was the smart choice. Pain in the patootie to maintain to I bet...And hey, you get that little problem taken care of for free! Win-Win!

Some of the stuff inside other stuff is garbage and then there is the stuff that I told my son he could have. I think the neighbor wants both shed and pool. He can make money off the scrap metal

Yes too much work and I don't use it very often. The pool and shed were both listed and I think the neighbor wants both

It is depressing. I hate going out on the deck and seeing it. I'll be glad when it's gone

You are so right. Slowly but surely it's getting done. I wish I had a magic wand I could wave and make it all go away lol

Too much work and money involved in a pool especially for the amount of time it got used. It's been sitting there a lot of years and I'll be glad when it's finally gone

Oh my! It'll be nice to have that gone! Glad your neighbor is taking the items off your hands.

Yes, it will be nice. I hate going out on the deck and seeing it like that.

Oh Sweetie--you have WAY too much to take care of right now... My thoughts and prayers go with you each and every day... I know you will be glad to get rid of all of the stuff which you no longer need. Hope the neighbor takes both the pool and shed.... Blessings on you, Ann.

Hugs,
Betsy

It will be nice if he does take both. There is a lot to take card of but I'm taking it slow and doing what needs done first and letting the rest wait
