Yesterday it consisted of accidentally staying a half hour over at work. I got home and attempted to take care of some household chores and failed. I was however successful at paying some bills. I also excelled in couch lounging.
Today I get to do it all over again. It's like one never ending boring loop.

But that is O.K. Your health is everything. At my age, and with all my health problems and major surgery last year, I always say this...a day when nothing happens is a good day for me now. Maybe sad, but true. And I'm O.K. with it. Boring is so much better than bad stuff.
As long as Gibbs was taken care of...your day was a success.
at my age, one boring, same old, same old day is a good thing.... hope you have a good day and enjoy that couch time
I so remember the endless loop of going to work and coming home and the doing it again day after day. The one good thing is you no longer have a mortgage to pay. I like that.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of lovies to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
It's such a busy time of year--at work, at home. I always say: What do I have less of in May--time or money? I am exhausted too. Hey...at least you paid your bills...which reminds me to do the same.
maybe with your mortgage all taken care of, you could consider revamping your work schedule, like instead of 5 days work only 4...and do something interesting on your new day off :-)
Get plenty of rest to recharge your batteries, and hopefully something fun will come along.
Your day sounds like my day, only different loop!
That's true. I'll take boring over bad
He agrees with that
My first thought when the alarm goes off is how many days till my next day off...lol
I have so many things on my to do list and when I get home from work I just don't have the energy to do most of them. I mowe the lawn and the next day I'm totally exhausted and can't do anything.
That does sound tempting. I think for now I"ll keep it as it is but it's something to think about
I need lots of recharging
((Hugs)) That loop can really get frustrating at times.
