I didn't get to have another stay home all day in my pajamas. What a shame because those were very productive days.
Instead I had a doctors appointment in the morning. Just a wellness visit because I was on the last refill for my prescription.
I got there about 10 minutes before my 9:00 appointment.
I filled out the usual paperwork to update all my info. Let me just say that I'm really annoyed by the question "what sex do I identify as." I declined to answer. I clearly stated that I am female and that's all there is to it.
Then I sat and waited. I watched this door for 45 minutes.
I finally got called back. She apologized saying she had gotten derailed first thing that morning. Well let me just say that I was derailed as well. The original plan was to leave here, go to Walmart for a couple things then back home to work on craft projects. All was well until I cut out some vinyl for a shirt, weeded it and realized I cut it backwards. That was it for the day. The rest of the day was spent on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies.

Yuck about the wait! And the craft problems. Saying to heck with it and watching upbeat movies was the best way to spend the rest of the day. ❤️
Enough with the stress, time to just chill!!!
I wait 15 to 20 minutes and if not called back, I go and tell them I am past my appt time, did they forget me. I am blessed that my primary is never more than a 5 minute wait and also has a sign on the wall to remind them if its more than a 15 minute wait. once years ago we waited over and hour and I went to the desk because bob was about to leave and she had forgotten to pull his folder, and put it in the he is here pile.... we waited another hour and never went back to that office. oh no on the backwards cut and you did what I would do. just give up and do PHUN stuff
I also hate the wait... and I'm sorry about the mishap! I got up this morning at 12:30am thinking it was 2:30...out on the patio hunting for our feral and sick, Miss Kitty. Finally found her out on my potting station...brought her in and gave her some antibiotics. Hoping that'll help her. Since she's been ill, she's been hiding.
Have a better day!
hugs
Donna
Sorry your day didn't go as planned. I hate waiting like that. I went to the eye doctor Friday, and they took me right back to do all of the testing. Then took me to a separate room to wait for the doctor which took 30 minutes. It was frustrating.
It can be very frustrating to have to wait an extended amount of time past your appointment. So sorry that you cut the vinyl backwards...I know this was disappointing. Can't beat the Hallmark movies...I've watched more this year than what I normally watch. Happy Sunday.
I detest those questions too. I had my Sr. Wellness in November.
I had to count backwards from 100 by 7's until they told me to stop. Then I was given a drawing of interlocking pentagons
that I had to DRAW. I know you are laughing at this since we both know I don't draw.
That was most inconsiderate of them to make you wait 45 minutes with not even an update of what was what. They would not wait 45 minutes for you. You'd be charged for an office visit. When a patient has to wait that long they need a deduction from their bill
Hugs and stepping off my soap box

Oh wow, how annoying.. I hate waiting too and especially when no one says anything to you. Cutting out something backwards sounds like my way of doing things..and what you did after it sounds just about perfect. Great way to unwind.

Sorry you had to wait so long.
I hate those questions too!!!
They should not ask that question. It's very sad. So sorry about your long wait. I hate when that happens. Sorry you couldn't do what you had planned. However, I do enjoy watching the Hallmark movies.
It can't hurt to really take your time... to relax.
Christmas movies are a good idea.
hug
All the best from me.
