It was a wonderful evening with my kids on Christmas eve. We laughed, we talked, we ate, we opened gifts.
Here are a few pictures I took while they were opening their gifts from me.
Presley seemed to like all her gifts.
My daughter in law always has the best expressions when she's opening her gifts. She likes mushrooms and I gave her a tote bag with a mushroom on it and it said "let that shitake go".
Here Presley is reading the sign I made for my daughter in law that said "great hair isn't by accident, it's by appointment"
Son opening one of his gifts.
Son in law with one of the three shirts I made for him. I can't show the front side because he had requested shirts that contain words I don't use on the blog.
Here he is with the fishing bucket I gave him. I brought home an empty bucket from work and then added a vinyl design with a fish and the saying wishing I was fishing.
Son got help from Presley opening the lamp I got him. For years he has been telling me I can give him one of my lamps. I finally got him one just like mine. I can't believe it but he actually knew what it was before he opened it.
Daughter opening the last of her gifts. Don't you just love that smile of hers.
I received lots of wonderful gifts as well but haven't taken any pictures of them. Funny story though. Presley was opening her last gift and it was a pretty light blue sweater that was adult size. She held it up to herself and I commented that it looked like it might be a little big. Then it dawned on me that Amanda had given her a gift that was supposed to be mine.

Presley is getting so big! And I think both her and your daughter look like you. I have not seen this Pioneer woman item. Did it come with the rolling pins? You got really good photos!

everybody scored and all look happy and now I need to know if you got the blue sweater or if Presley will be wearing it to school. ha ha good job the gifts for men, to me they are much harder to shop for
It looks like you all had a great time! Love all of the pictures.
Ann what a wonderful posts and OMDs all the beautiful smiles and glee with each photo. The fishing bucket was a fun idea. My son in law is a fisher man too. I bet Presley was thinking I will have to grow into this sweater. Happy the mystery was quickly solved. All the guys and gals in your life have such wonderful smiles and twinkling eyes

Aww, there is nothing like fun and happy times opening gifts. Everyone looks so pleased with their presents. I love the idea of homemade ones that have special meaning.
