It's been slow going with the decorating. I had wanted to get a good start last Friday and Saturday but the weather and my mood put a damper on things. I did manage to get the village set up. Hopefully by the time this posts I'll have a whole lot more done.
First I want to show you what the village looked like back in 2018. Back then the entire thing fit on top of my fake fireplace.
Every year I've purchased at least one new piece and I've even gotten some as Christmas gifts. Here is what the village set up looks like this year. Even the two shelves I purchased last year are filling up. This year I went one shelf on either side of the fireplace and across the top.
Here's a video that gives you a closer look at all the shelves.
On a different note, Liz asked if all the snow we've gotten is normal for us. Well, the last few years we haven't gotten too much but this is not unheard of in our area

My favorites are the fire department and the vet! This has everything that a real town needs!
I hope I remember to come back and watch the video...I love these pieces.
you have quite a collection of these adorable pieces. I have always enjoyed them, but having enough plugs has always been a problem for me. Each little piece sets the perfect theme for a Christmas Winter Wonderland....
firehouse, vet haven are my favorites, but all of them are really cute and I love them all.. it sure has grown, you may have to start a second village on another wall or in another room... its hard to decorate when you are stressed from being snowed in on vacation with a back door that doesn't open.
That’s a beautiful collection! I loved looking at all the pieces you have.
Thank you. We hardly ever have snow and if we do it's only a scattering.
Wow! Your village is amazing. My daughter especially would love that.
It's a beautiful collection. Thank you for sharing it with us. Good luck with the snow!
I love your village collection. I would be in awe to see it up close!
OMG! Your village is so beautiful. Wow, it certainly has grown over the years. That is a beautiful Christmas decoration.
Your village sure has grown. :) It all looks so nice.
I have yet to start decorating.
