Something I made for a gift

This Christmas there were a lot of handmade gifts. The last couple years I've been trying to do more things that are handmade instead of store bought.

One of the things I made was hamburg jerky. I gave some to my son and some to my son in law.

The Monday before Christmas I got started early and used my jerky shooter to form the jerky and put it in the dehydrator.

The dehydrator I have is super old. I bought it probably in the 90s with intentions of drying all kinds of things. I remember doing the jerky several times over the years. I've always liked it better than regular jerky.

Homemade gifts are the best!! I haven't tried jerky in my dehydrator yet. It looks really good.

That's a wonderful idea to make gifts, not always easy to do. Hamburger Jerky, that sounds really interesting and I bet it tastes good.
