This will be a bit of a hod podge of miscellaneous things that happened last week. Or maybe ideas for blog posts that jumped into my head last week.
The weather last week was absolutely gorgeous. I was able to get outside and enjoy it a bit. Monday I decided I was finally going to vacuum out my car. It was a total mess and desperately needed it. I should have washed it too but wasn't feeling that ambitious.
Tuesday I traveled to Conneaut Ohio. A friend of mine works in a grocery store there and she told me I could stop by and fill out an application to fulfill my weekly obligations to unemployment.
Friday the temps almost reached 80. It was a bit of heaven. I even went out and did a little yard work.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday there were surveyors out behind my house. I was curious about what they were doing so I posted the question on Facebook to see if anyone knew. Excuse the bad picture. It was taken through a very filthy basement window.
On a sad note, my light box bit the dust. I was taking pictures in it the one day and just as I was getting ready to unplug it the light went out in it. Apparently the wire that leads into the switch box came loose. I tried to open the switch box up to see if I could reconnect it but that was impossible so I gave up. Bummer.

on no on the light box, if you have a goose neck could you put it in the light box hole where the bulb is, shine a flash light in the box? make do is my middle name. I did not realize you are so close to the OH line.. so that would be about the same drive as Walmart, right? glad you had some warm weather. ours is nuts we woke up hismorning to 59, and by 7 am will be 52 and by 2 pm will be 83... now we are swinging temps in a few hours. bright sun makes it ok

Near 80 degrees was warmer than GA! I am glad you got it though. Sorry about your night light. Would you work in Ohio?
You got warmer weather than we did. I think the warmest we got was 72, Good luck on the job application!
80 degrees jumpin' cat fish we haven't hit 80 yet close to it several days in high 70's. Ok I admit I don't know what a light box is? I'm sorry yours bit the dust though. Are you bothered by having a pharmacy there? Not that it matters it will happen...just like here.

It is so encouraging when the weather starts to behave properly and kindly.
We had horrible storms yesterday. Thunder and lightening and hail. I was driving home and was worried I would have dents in my SUV. Scary. Today the sun is shining and it's calm.

What a bummer on your light box. I hope you can repair it or get a new one. I sure need one of those for all of my eBay items I sell. It would be so much easier than what I use..ie.. big white poster board to surround the item. Works..sort of..haha

It has been 86 degrees in our area...yikes. Sure sad that your box light went kerpunk. Maybe you will find one that you like even better. Isn't it crazy that you have to apply each week for jobs that you know wouldn't work for you or your not going to be able to take? Just have to have those applications in though.

Nice of her to let you apply. They are sticklers for applications and sometimes do call to check and see if you applied.
I am no help at all with anything doing with electricity...or computers, for that matter--lol! Light boxes do help take good pictures. I hope you can get it fixed.
If they will be building that close to you...going to be a noisy summer. ;)
That's quite a busy week. Like you I'm glad we are getting warmer weather. I was out in short sleeves today. Sorry about your light box.
