Facebook finds.

This is a screenshot of a post I saw on Facebook

This is from the store where I used to work. I found so much wrong with this. Number one she keeps using the word "homemade". Years ago a health inspector told us we were not allowed to use that word. It had to be store made. Second, she's making all kinds of things from scratch which is not the least bit cost effective for an in store bakery. Apparently during the holiday season she had them making a wide variety of cookies all from scratch. Lastly the price got me. I'm cheap so maybe $20 is normal but it seems awfully expensive to me.

I love the craft things I see on facebook. They don't annoy me like the above post. I thought this was totally adorable. I couldn't find any instructions but I'm thinking it would be pretty easy to figure out

There was also this one

I love the rabbit & chicks! I KNEW when you left the bakery that it would go downhill fast. And the cake is not pretty for sure.

Cute bunny and chicks! It looks like jute twine?

I like them both, but the one with the rug is my favorite. I would not pay 20 for a cake, I have to save my money for burger which at Publix was 7.99 - 12.99 a pound yesterday.. I paid 10.69 for one pound of ground round 75/15 for Beau to eat in rice. OMW

I'm thinking this bakery made a mistake by not hiring you back.. I always see so many cute craft ideas and I usually snap a picture of them with intentions of trying to make them. I usually never go back to the photo...I'm missing out.

What a darlin' chick...
That is a really dark chocolate cake. Might even be too chocolatey for me.

Hmmm...so what other term could they use to note that the cake was made in-house? We have cottage industry laws in TN so people can make food in their homes and the laws are a little more relaxed. They will learn the hard way about cost-saving measures. Best that you aren't there to have to deal with it. The rabbits look like jute and I think you could definitely play around to replicate them. They are so cute!

Oh Ann I can understand why this face book page has you upset. I am sure with your experience you can see how much of a challenge this bakery will need to stay in business. In the meantime I think these critters are adorable and I am sure you will be able to figure out how to make them. Hope you are staying warm...very cold here today. Hugs!

Oh how I love those crafts. I bet you can make them with no problem.
The bakery's loss for not having you there in charge. That's a lot for a plain cake ... my opinion.

First of all, that does not look like a ho ho cake at all and I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for it either. Plus, how do they not know to use the term store made instead of homemade? I don't blame you for being irritated after how you were treated.
The chicks are super cute. I'm sure you could figure it out pretty well.
Happy Saturday

This cake looked abysmal! I vividly remember the beautiful cakes you decorated. No wonder you were irritated. Those chicks are adorable. I know you would do a great job making yours.

That's pretty interesting what she is doing and why they haven't stopped her? Oh my, those are so darn cute. I hope you can figure out how to make them.

That cake looked awful - they need to call you and ask you back.
I did like those crafts you found online. I bet you will make some.
