You see, mom has gone and gotten herself a little behind again. She read as many of your blogs as she could last night but didn't get to everyone. Today she's off running around.and it's unlikely she'll get be catching up any time soon

Oh well, maybe some day my silly mom will get it all together. I just hope when she does she has plenty of treats for me

Knick Knack Paddy Whack and TGIF

Now what's that nonsense about TGIF? I realize the calendar says that today is Thursday but it feels like Friday to me because I took a vacation day tomorrow.  I have a little errand to run in the morning and then I'm having lunch with a friend. She retired from the store where I work a couple months ago so it's the perfect opportunity for us to have lunch and catch up.

For lack of something better

I have no idea what to post about today. There are no sparks of inspiration igniting my brain into action. So for lack of something better I will show you the arrangement I threw together using the dried up stems that I talked about in my post the other day.

What's that you say? It looks too much like fall? Well for heavens sake they are dead stems, what did you expect? Spring, of course you expected something spring like. Very well, through the magic of photoshop I will give you something that is more suitable for spring.

And because I never quite know when to quit, there is one more. 

Who loves ya baby

While mom and dad are working I get a little bored. I started watching television to pass the time. Dad leaves the remote right on the table so it's easy to reach. I was watching a great show called Kojak.
After the show was over I thought I would learn to be really cool like Kojak is and the girls will be swarming to get to me. I'm not going to shave my head and I don't think my mom will let me have a lollypop but I think I have the "who loves ya baby" look down pretty good.

I threw in the wink as my own little twist.
