Only the shadow knows.

The shadow knows who the instigator is. I'm going to tell all of you though that the guilty party is Sandra a.k.a. Madsnapper. She sent me a link to some photoshop tutorials. Some of the things were techniques I've already been using but I had to try everything out.
Duke was kind enough to lend his photo for my play time.
My original picture

and my over edited fun picture.

Don't you just love it when you have friends who feed your addictions?

What a startling difference and very artsy!!! Sandra sent me some editing links, too, and I have been going WILD!!!! I now have no time to dust, cook, sweep, or vacum. Now if only I had no time to eat...

You know Ann you really have a knack for this sort of thing...your edited versions always look great...somehow better than the originals, if I ever try to do anything to my photos I always end up with a mess, :-(

Most definitely (not that my addictions need any help, mind you).
Very cool effect - looks kind of like water.

That is one terrific editing job. I am trying to learn Photoshop so if anyone has any links to tutorials, I would love to know what they are. I want to be able to put a hat on some of my cats. LOL. I know I have to start at the beginning. Great picture Duke. Take care.

Sweet...he's just so photogenic, no matter if it's special effects or the original. He's so loveable.

Ohhhhhhhhh, the Lamb's Ear. Now I've never heard or seen this before [your post below...it's fabulous]

Hootin Anni said...

...well, wait....maybe it ISN'T a lamb's ear. Whatever it is...the purple blossom is pretty. [geez...I feel like a fool ---I'm gonna go get NAKED in the store again. Maybe I'll feel better a fool doing that than just ramblin' on about lamb's ears]

Haha yes! Some of my friends (and family members) definitely know how to feed my addictions.

That's so neat! It looks kind of eerie and ghostly.

Well---since you are creative and since Sandra is creative ----you two can have a great time together doing wild and crazy things with photos.

I like what you did. It makes it look like a painting. I've been playing around with things like that too. It's fun to sit here and try new things.
