This week's friend is Grace from Dragon's Alley. Grace is another blogger I met through Entrecard although at the time she had a different blog. Obviously I like her since I've followed her through the moves. I must tell you that she is very kind hearted. How do I know this? Because I emailed her Saturday morning to tell her that I had mistakenly deleted all the answers she had sent me for today's post and she graciously gave me a second chance. Boy what a dope. Me, not Grace. Anyway, one of the things I like most about her is her straightforwardness. She tells it like it is but leaves you smiling. So without further ado I turn you over to Grace.
I started blogging in 2005. I saw an article about Blogger and blogging in a tech column and was curious. I jump on any new thing as soon as I see it and then wonder what the heck I'm going to do with it. I didn't post much the first year or so and then I guess somehow I found other blogs and started to get regular readers and posted more often. And there you go. I've used a few different platforms and I've changed the name and url of my blog more than a few times over the years. Right now I am blogging on tumblr (http://dragonsalley.tumblr.com) and my Blogger blog (http://dragonsalley.blogspot.com) is just there for the history and my blog roll. And speaking of history, I am now in the process of deleting all old posts that aren't "keepers". I will then turn them into a Blurb book.
2) What is one piece of advice you would give to a new blogger?
No advice. People are gonna do what they're gonna do. Advice is usually free and that's basically what it's worth.
3) Do you have any hobbies or special talents?
I have never understood the concept of "hobby" so I don't think I have any. Special Talents? Hmm- I can laugh and cry on cue, learned that in acting class. I have a small talent with words. I often speak in sound effects. I used to be a rather good psychic/medium but for the last 4 years I haven't had much practice. It's a skill like any other and the more you practice the better you get. Maybe I'll be able to get back to it now that we've moved. Babies, young children and animals really like me, everyone else - not so much.
4) Of course you love all the blogs you visit but share a link to one of those and tell us why we should check it out.
I stumbled over "Strangers Call Me Sunny" (http://sunnystrangers.blogspot.com) a while ago. The guy is funny - my kind of funny. His posts are basically rants and they are - Funny. I love the sarcasm as well as the valid points he makes. He posts only once or twice a week and never fails to engage me. (Of course if you are all about rainbows, unicorns and glitter, you might want to skip him.)
5) What is the one things that totally makes you crazy?
One thing - Do you know me at all? Lack of personal responsibility. Yes, your life IS all about you and you're responsible for your actions and their consequences. The world doesn't owe you a living and your birth certificate doesn't come with a guarantee. It is the "pursuit" of happiness that is listed as an "inalienable right" in the Declaration of Independence. Not happiness itself, just the pursuit of it.
6) Give one random though.
"Do Unto Others As You would Have Them Do Unto You" That is the only thing you need to know, and do, to be a good person and live a good life. Everything else you've ever read or heard is just a variation on this. It's simple, to the point, all encompassing and it's all you need to know. Perhaps it's all there IS to know.

Great post! Nice to meet you Grace!
Ann, my dear friend, you are no dope - while I was retrieving my answers from my sent email folder I managed to delete them too! Oops! Thankfully that email was still on the server.
For all the nice comments, I thank you all! Most kind of you...
I'm glad that I was able to meet Grace through Entrecard, too. I enjoyed learning more about her today.
Finding Grace was one of the best things I can say about the Entrecard experience. She doesn't realize how much of an impact she's made on me but I just love her (and her kitties)! It was fun learning more about her too!
Hello Grace :)
Hello Grace :)
Nice to meet you Grace! I really like your last two answers!
Happy week to you Ann!
I haven't been there since EC closed. I'll pop over.
Well, I like Grace and I'm not a child or an animal!!
I like her opinions and her ability to speak her mind without worrying who is going to not like it. I'm like that too, so I appreciate that about her.
Grace has a kind heart too and very sensitive. My favorite part is when she tells Frankie to get off the warm air vent!
Hello Grace - nice to meet you! sandie
