Dream

Everyone should have dreams rights?

Would it be wrong if my dreams were simply to eat chocolate? Because frankly, the pretzels just aren't cutting it.
I've been trying to behave myself and control what I've been eating. I had already been putting on some pounds and then when I quit smoking that didn't help.
I do need to brag here just a bit though because someone, who shall remain nameless, quit the same time I did only someone didn't make it very long and someone is going to give it another try starting today. I on the other hand have been smoke free for 31 days..

Now all I need are some satisfying, healthy, low fat, low calorie snacks and meals.

Good for YOU, Ann! 31 days ~ Yeah!
As far as calories... I hate those things. I now have two days of counting them because I am up 15 lbs and not happy at all! I lost a ton of weight a few years ago and know how to do this but it is not fun! Just gotta keep going :)

That is terrific that you quit smoking Ann. That is one of the hardest things to do. I did it a while back. It is hard to lose weight after quitting smoking but hang in there. It will come.

Way to go Ann. I'm guessing you're referring to Wade? Well you have more will power than he does. Good for you.

Have a terrific day honey. My best to Duke. :)

Congratulations! I am an ex-smoker too. Quit 33 years ago cold turkey. I can't help you too much on the weight issue though because I've packed on the pounds and can't get them off either, LOL.

Congratulations!! [Hint: To go into a smoke filled bar - I had been 'smoke free' for over 3 years, and went to Tombstone and you can smoke in bars there....guess what?!!!]

You keep up the way you're going and it'll work. I'm sure the urge never ceases to light up. But you're strong willed!!!!

Now--eat some chocolate!!!!

Congrats Ann! That's so wonderful you've gone 31 days without smoking! Hope someone else can kick it too! Since smoking was probably something you enjoyed it only makes sense to replace it with something else you enjoy so guess that means you can either play with Duke, be crafty, or eat chocolate!

Good job, Ann, it will get easier. I don't ever get the urge. Cigarette smoke actually makes me cough and smells so bad. I made some skinny soup yesterday. Only 21 calories. All veggies, beef broth, tomato paste. When I get hungry, I just have a cup. I did eat the candy bar. Now I'm satisfied for a while.
