weekend entertainment

So I may lead a very boring life but after the cleaning was done I entertained myself with some crocheting.

Since I sold all my dishcloths at the craft show I started working on replenishing that supply

Just as an experiment I thought I would do some round crocheted candle mats. These are about 9" across and are a combination of yarn and jute

Finally I have a project that's not quite finished yet. This is as far as I got. Can you tell what it's going to be?

When it's done it'll be a turkey. If you're curious and want to see a finished one and the tutorial you can visit Craft Passion

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Well except for having to mow the yard as hubby was in the pool. I'm just saying.

I love the turkeys. Too cute.

Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. :)

As someone who can barely do a straightforward, uncomplicated scarf I am amazed at your work...You mix the colors so nice...

I never learned to crochet -- and yes, I do think it's too late to do so. :)

Love your creations. Very pretty.

Alas, it's getting worse--isn't it? Poor Duke and Wade.

I've been crocheting washcloths for Christmas gifts. My 12 year old saw my big pile and asked for a bunch for her hope chest as a birthday gift. How could I say no?

Blessings,

P.S. I'd love to see a tutorial telling how you made that pattern.
