Everybody loves a parade

Last week was fair week in our little town. If you know me, you know that's a busy week for me at work. It also means that last Saturday I sitting in the front yard watching the fair parade go by.
I sat out there snapping away and took way too many pictures to show in one post.
What would a parade be without marching bands.

Duke seemed to be impressed with this one

Whoa doggie, those are some big pups

While we were watching the parade, the parade was watching Duke

Oh my gosh, Duke is so cute standing up and watching the parade!!!! He must have been very excited to see the horses! I also love the yellow and pink flags, what was the parade about? Guess what I just put out in the living room? Your Fall pumpkin, fence, and tree with the quilling paper, it always looks so cute in the fall and it is still in like new shape.

I just adore parades! People are always in a good mood when watching them. Maybe it brings back childhood memories? Duke is SO cute! I imagine he had an entire fan club when the parade was over!

That is very funny! Duke is one smart puppy to know he's supposed to watch the parade, and standing up for the horses? What a hoot.

Oh my god...these images, and DUKE, just blew me away!!! What a card he is. Gotta love that pup of yours. He's a show stopper.

Of course the parade was watching Duke. Heck I would have gotten off one of those big pups and given Duke some scritches and some loving.

Have a woof woof day Duke. My best to your mom. ☺

Duke had a blast, didn't he? AND --the parade people loved looking at him. Is he trained to stay in your yard????? I never could allow my dog OFF of her leash --or she would have been out there in the middle of all of that.

Why the parade???? What was the celebration?
Hugs,
Betsy

It looks like you are not the only one that enjoys a good parade. I love the last shot where he is sitting up, I think the girl on the horse was impressed with Duke, too.

OKAY I am so impressed he can sit on the edge of the street and not run in - you are blessed - Disco would be having a nervous breakdown.
