Quite a while ago I showed the start of a crochet project. It was a crocheted turkey. I had no problem with the front and the back pieces but when it came to putting it together I had the worst time. Crocheting the two pieces together around the outside was easy enough but then there was supposed to be a line of crochet separating the tail feathers.
I finally gave up and called it done
I did the eyes on mine a little different, I used burlap instead of white felt. If you want to see the original and the pattern I used you can find it at Craft Passion

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
That is just the cutest turkey! I really wish I could crochet! Even though my grandmother was blind...she was able to crochet the most beautiful things! Unfortunately, that talent did not pass to me!
Your crochet turkey is adorable! Well done!!
gobble, gobble gobble gobble
translated this means
I like the choice of burlap, and the choice to hang it on the window to photograph it.. mother would have been copying this for sure.
Cute, cute, cute :)
how adorable? I'm like you. I do not enjoy doing the detailing on crochet.
Really cute. Maybe if I did a bunch of these little things people would buy them. But I think I've given up on selling crafts. No one seems to like the same things I do. My last effort was a huge pile of Christmas placemats I made for a seasonal craft show. I didn't sell a single one. Gave them as gifts at least.
Too cute. I'd never be able to do this though. I'm. Not. Crafty. Oh well.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
That turned out really cute! I could never do that but you're making me want to learn how to crochet anyway!
Cheryl, This may be my favorite craft you have done. I love love love the turkey... He's adorable....
Hugs,
Betsy
