old fashioned dish washer

I unfortunately do not have the luxury of a modern dishwasher. I have to rely on the old fashioned style. Two cycles, wash and dry.

I've made a few of these sets and plan on making a few more. They'll make good Christmas gifts.

Wow, you actually made these? They look like the came from a gift shop! I thought WE were the only people on earth without a dishwasher! Welcome to the club!

Those are fabulous! I love the coffee print! Since we're just two people most days I wash the dishes by hand too!

I do like the black/beige/white color combination. Very pretty! And no dishwasher here accept me.

Those look terrific! The color scheme should work for a lot of kitchens.

I have a dishwasher, but still hand wash a lot of items - delicate glassware, pots & pans, baking sheets, measuring cups/spoons, etc.

We have all the modern conveniences but I remember when I didn't. Those will indeed make lovely Christmas gifts.

Those would make great Christmas gifts, in fact, that set will match my kitchen!

I've always had a dishwasher but I rarely use it. It does come in handy for when we have guests over, but for the two of us, we only use it about once a month. It's just as easy to wash a few dishes a couple times a day.

I don't really like dishwashers for some unknown reason but when I empty mine every morning at look at the sparkling glasses I guess I kinda like it. Now this is gonna sound dumb - but what are those crocheted things in the picture?

We have a dishwasher --but seldom use it… With just the two of us, I keep the dishes washed as they get dirty.. Works for us. BUT--it is nice to have one when we have company or when we want to clean some items which clean better in the dishwasher-like the coffee pot/filter….

Love your set.. What a nice Christmas gift that would be.

Hugs,
Betsy

We don't have a dishwasher either, except the Person. Those look like some great presents. Hope you have great evening.

Very cute! I don't use my dishwasher very often, usually just holidays. :)

Love your crocheted work. The pattern is pretty with the yarn you used. You can do everything! I've crocheted just a bit but not good with instructions so could never make these. Very nice, Ann!

Happy Friday, YAY!

My grandmother used to make hanging dish towels and I loved them. I need to make some of my own. Thanks for inspiring me!

Thanks also for stopping at Chatty Crone's blog and commenting. It's great to meet you! :)
