Art Challenge: Fabric
Journal Prompt: The Fabric of Your Life
I started by painting my page with a yellow paint and added a little bit of peach. I made some green marks, added some stamped swirls, dabbed on some gesso to tone some things down and then I needed fabric. Those flowers were cut from some pretty ribbon I got in the mail from a sweet person who thought to send me some ribbon she had. I bet she never thought I would use it this way. I finished it off with a ric rac border
Ok, now to get started on my next page.

Wow!! Gorgeous, one of your best. It reminds me just a bit of one of the Vera Bradley purses. You would make a great fabric designer.
Yes, gesso always works to tone things down.
