Good Friday

Hard to believe it's already Good Friday and we'll be celebrating Easter on Sunday.

Today I thought I would take you back to the cemetery that I visited a couple weeks ago. Here's a few of my favorite shots.

I didn't get out to see the dates on the stones but this one has to be pretty old

This one I decided to convert to black and white

Another stone that caught my eye

I thought I would make the picture look a bit more dramatic

And that's all I've got for today. I'm off tomorrow and then have to work on Sunday but it will only be a partial day. Amanda will be cooking Easter dinner so I can come home and have someone else do all the work.

Looks like quite a few very well off people were buried here. I love the last edit you made...very dramatic! So nice you will not have to slave away at home on Easter!

Cemeteries are beautiful places to visit. I always find the artistry of the headstones very interesting.

I like the 'dramatic' stone pic.. I love photos of cememetaries and some of these look like they are sinking in and leaning. I can see one date on the first one 1911, wonder it that is when the person died

Everything is closed Sunday here.I played in an old cemetery this last week, the oldest stone I found was 1853.

I love walking though old cemeteries. There is so much history there and I often wonder about the families of those that are buried there.

Way to go on your Easter dinner. That's the way to do a holiday meal.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

The edit on the last photo is perfect - totally adds to, and enhances, the original photo.

Oh, I love to take pics of old grave sites. Markers are so much more interesting then what is used today. Then you also find some interesting dates that go back a long way. Cool shots.
