A crafty kind of day

Friday I had a leisurely morning of sipping coffee and playing in my craft room. I started by finishing some paper beads for 3 bracelets that I'm giving someone for Christmas

Then I made some name tags to clip to our stockings at work. We had old ones that the names were written right on the stocking and several people have quit. I bought some new stockings (cheap small ones from Dollar Tree) and instead of putting the name on them I'll just clip these on. This way when someone quits I don't have to get a new stocking for the next person coming in.

Then I made some Christmas colored bracelets which I'll save for tomorrow. With some left over beads I made a little bead and wood spool ornament.

I even ended up going out for my weekly grocery trip to Walmart. I went in the afternoon and surprisingly, even though the store was quite busy, the lines were next to nothing.

Today I'll be going out with my friend Debbie to a huge craft show. I hear it's a good one.

I bet you get a lot of ideas at those craft shows. Your ornament is so pretty and sparkly! And I love your bracelets, I have not seen the paper beads with the metal spacers between the beads. The stocking names are pretty. No one would think of or do these things except you.

Great idea with the stocking names. Do you guys give each other little gifts in the stockings? These paper beads are so pretty. I also love the ornament you created. I always love craft shows - you two have a great time.

Loving the ornament. I gave my quilting sis in law a bunch of those wooden spools in a Ball Jar. I thought that was a cute idea, she quilts and she cans! Stuffing or dressing ~ I go with dressing since we do not stuff it in the turkey. To me, that is my fav part of Thanksgiving and my mom makes the best cornbread dressing. I used to make it when my kids were young but I was thinking last night that it has been probably 20 yrs since I made any!!

I'm glad you're having a good time with your crafts. You are most talented.

We stayed in yesterday. We just can't do the black Friday thing. On Wednesday we grocery shopped. Not a wise thing the day before Thanksgiving. Good grief.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
