Paper, glass and wood

Yep, still stuck on making paper beads. This time instead of making the bracelets with the metal spacers I tried something different.

On this one I used wood beads in between the paper ones

This one is a bit closer and you can see how shiny the beads are after they've been coated. It's the most obvious on the to p bead.

The picture for this one didn't turn out quite as well but this one I used glass seed beads in between the paper ones. Since blue has always been my favorite color I like the looks of this one.

This morning, so long as nothing changes, Wade will be going in for his surgery. I need to pack a bag of things to do while I wait.

Hope his surgery is successful and the recuperation uneventful. And those bracelets look like a LOT of work!

It takes a lot of patience to make paper beads but yours look beautiful. The varnish must be a good one as they are looking like glass.
Of course now I have the urge to go make some paper beads, lol

Keep us posted on Wade. I am sure all will be fine. Loving the paper beads with Christmas paper. Went to locate my Christmas paper for replacing the cover on my phone (I use a clear cover and I decorate it with scrapbook paper according to season or mood)...haha That really should not surprise you. Great job on the bead making! If we lived closer we would be crafting all day I think!

I wondered when you would mix all the parts for a different kind of bracelet. Beautiful.

You'll be waiting on him for a bit. Zane went though this a couple of years ago. Takes about six weeks for him to be able to do much. Don't let him either. Just saying.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Yeah, those are nice. I like the paper and wood. How do you fasten the ends of the elastic? do you make sure the join ends up inside a bead?
