Q & A

And a few more bracelets. I made these with E beads. I figured these would go as a set of three.

The other day Sharla asked if I was prepping for another show. The answer to that one is that I'm pretty much always prepping for a show since I tend to work at a snails pace some times. If I'm crafting it's for one of two reasons. I'm either making things that I will take to the craft show or I'm making things for a gift.

Yesterday Ginny asked if  I made the arrangement in the picture I posted. The answer to that is that if you consider putting some fake flowers in a pretty little bucket then yes I did. I found that bucket a few years ago at a grocery store. It always looks nice with some fake fall flowers sitting in it.

Grace asked when they started calling it "Black Friday" Well my tired brain got tired while trying to research the answer. It seems that the term has been around for a while but hasn't always been used to refer to the way we know it now.

Finally I have a question for you. Speaking of black Friday,  are you a black Friday shopper? If you are have you ever camped outside a store waiting for it to open so you could get the best deals?

I am as far away from stores on Black Friday as one could POSSIBLY be. Hate it with a passion for me. Nope, no way. :)

Then you DID make the pretty arrangement! These bracelets make a perfect set. I think all your bracelets would be a huge seller! Why are they called e beads?

Yes, I love Black Friday shopping. NO, I will not stand in line or get up early. That's why I am never successful. NEVER.

Well, I missed the previous post and had to go do a lookie-loo. I love the atmosphere the bucket creates with the flowers!!! And, LOVE the color of your tri-bracelet creation. Now as for an answer to YOUR question. I did it once when the Cabbage Patch Dolls were a big thing....waited in the dark for a few hours 'til the store opened....for Irene/gift from Santa. My word, I'll never EVER do it again.

I think the same bargains still arise and it is just an excuse to tempt people ready to shop until you drop.

The bracelets are the best. I wouldn't go shopping on Black Friday for any reason. I would rather pay a little more than fight those crowds. Ann, you have a terrific Tuesday.

The bracelets are very pretty - and I think doing a 3-some (tied with pretty ribbon) will make a popular item. I just looked up Black Friday myself - I think this is a good explanation - https://www.thebalance.com/why-is-it-called-black-friday-3305712 plus I also discovered that it was back in 1952 that the day after Thanksgiving was first presented as specifically Christmas shopping day

Love the beads. Love the color.

I don't shop on black Friday. I've never shopped on black Friday. I never will.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to the handsome Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I think this set of 3 is my favorite of all the bracelets. really pretty. now I am wondering why they are E beads, will have to research. I am back from google girl, E is the size, silly ME... I was thinking TECHie E.
I have never ever never stood in line or camped out waiting for any thing to open and never will... but there are many who do... black Friday has been around all my life and I am 73.. we never shopped it, but mother never missed the day after Christmas half price sale on Christmas paper and ornaments

Love the bracelets!
And, no...I would never camp out for the BF. There's just too many sales that beat BF.

Good idea to always prep for a show! I have a show in 2 weeks from tomorrow and although I have a buttload of earrings, I need to make necklaces and bracelets. Am I? Nope. *sigh*

I've shopped Black Friday sales in the stores in the past but now I'd rather do online shopping. I did wait for a store to open on BF about 10 years ago because they had an awesome deal on a camera. Of course it was in my town which doesn't have a lot of shops (i.e. the hard core BF shoppers were in other towns) and at Christmas time, not a lot of people with the college kids gone so it was a painless experience. Other than getting up so early!

I like Grace's idea of tying the 3 bracelets together with a ribbon. I love the color of these!

NOT a shopper, really. I never go out on Black Friday and I will most often shop when I have money and the time--not necessarily when I have coupons. I don't like shopping , really.

Adorable!!

And yes, I'm a Black Friday shopper but I shop online. You can get a lot of really great deals online on Thanksgiving evening and into the night. I used to shop for a much coveted toy years & years ago, for my kids. Cabbage Patch Kids come to mind, as well as that Furby thing. *haha* But not anymore and not for many years. I'm in my nightgown after the Thanksgiving dishes are washed... and the whole weekend after. No crowds for me.

XOXO

Hate BF shopping. Hate shopping. I don't like these bracelets as much as the earlier ones. But I don't wear bracelets anyway, so who cares!!!!
