Putting it all together

I got all those pieces parts assembled into a card and here it is.

Not entirely happy with this one for two reasons. I didn't care for the way the basket looked. I used brown cardstock and it was too dark so I tried to lighten it up by smudging on white paint. The other reason is the word Spring. I highlighted it with a pink glitter pen and it made it too dark. It doesn't stand out enough on the brown basket.

The inspiration for this one came from one of my pinterest boards. I pinned this thinking it would make a cute cards. The actual item is a 2 sided wood sign from this Etsy store

After this card was put together I thought I would work on cleaning up my craft room. I'll show you the results of that tomorrow

I love it! I did not think the different shades of pink were a bad thing. It is just the different kinds of spring pinks. I LOVE the beautiful sky blue embossed background and the daisies. This card makes me happy!!

I love it Ann! I see you used your Cuttlebug on it too. I have many of the same backgrounds you have. I haven't made a card in ages...I really wish there were more hours in the day! Pinterest has to be the BEST invention ever...although I probably spend WAY too much time over there! LOL

Well it did scream spring so it's a spring card. You'll get it the way you want it. I know you that well.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

As daisies are my favourite flower I think the card is lovely.
Good luck with the cleaning, something I put off

Not a great success, no. The background is super tho. 2 words, 2 different fonts - not a usually successful.

They both look good to me. About a week ago I visited my first ever craft shop. I thought of you and your great projects when I saw a few things there.

Well, I love the rustic look of the basket. I was ready to say it was the thing I liked best and then read that you didn't like it. The word "spring" could stand out more, but it's not terrible.
