Paperwork

I want to thank everyone for  helping me feel better yesterday. That's why I love blog pals.

I still don't have much to blog about but yesterday while I was at work and had papers spread across my table I decided they would be my topic. I mentioned here before that I like to make different forms to help keep things organized in my department. Well I'm training a new person so there will be another person to cover for my days off and vacations. Some of my forms needed to be updated due to changes in products and procedures. Along with jotting notes on them so I could bring them home to fix them I was making lists too. Now to put it all together into a nice neat little package to help make the new person's job a little easier.

Oh back in the day, before Excel and such, making forms was a PITA, but even without a spreadsheet program I was a form-making fool! Not that anyone would ever use them but me, mind you. What do people have against being neat and organized and having their lives made easier? Good that you have back-up, hopefully someone who cares as much as you do - dreadful to come back after time away to find the whole place a mess.

I am betting you feel better already, doing something like this removes the things in our minds and also helping someone learn something new helps to. yay for organizing. I used to bring things home to work on. now I just play all day

Staying on top of all that stuff helps the work place move easier through the day and keeping staff trained helps when you are off ...hoping today finds you better! Find something to smile and laugh about daily...

I was the form maker back in the day too. It's a good way to keep things in order. Helpful for new employees too.

I'm glad we all made you feel better yesterday.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Good for you. I make list but I would love to have sheets like that to use around the house only I'm too lazy to do it.

Yikes all the paperwork. It was the paperwork that pushed me out of the public schools teaching into a college.

I'm glad you're feeling better! It's nice of you to take on the task of those forms yourself to keep everything organized. I'm sure it's much appreciated!

I love forms and things that help make life easier. I've made a few for the deli over the years and they'll use them once or twice and then you never see them again. I quite making them for them.
The one I'm training is a good kid. I think he'll do well

Compared to how they did things in my department when I first started my forms have improved things 100%

I love anything that will make my job easier. Gotta work smarter not harder :)

I've made a few things for other departments but I'll see them use them a couple times and they just quit. I guess they don't like to do things the easy way...lol

My paperwork is rather minimal and it's mainly things that make my life easier instead of the kind I have to do that seems pointless

Aside from the one other person that works my department on my day off, no one uses the forms except for me.

I don't know why but I always loved doing paperwork! I'm weird. And I'm a list-maker too - for everything!! Otherwise I forget or it doesn't get done. I'd be so happy if I worked for you!! :)
