Hydrangea

I can't believe I haven't taken pictures of the hydrangea yet this year. It seems like it's rather slow to get blooms though. It doesn't have nearly as many on it as it has in past years and they're really just starting.

The smaller one that the lawn guy put next to it doesn't have any blooms on it at all

I need to get out there and clean up the siding. It's looking terrible.

Here are a few of the blooms.

the blooms are beautiful. And the plants are nice and bushy with pretty big and healthy looking leaves. Someone told us that you need to feed it blooming plant food.

Very, VERY pretty! Around here in this weather inferno, most of our plants are toast (and of course, watering restrictions).

they are beautiful, and the color of my mothers. I am smiling because her bushes were as big as a VW Bug, 3 of them accross the whole back of the house. does yours get big during the summer>

So pretty! I wonder if there is a reason they are blooming slower this year?

Beautiful and I love the colors. We don't have any flowers at all. What a shame.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

I have always loved hydrangeas but have never planted any. Seeing yours makes me want to go to the nursery.
