screened

Recently I was standing in the basement looking out the window and noticed the dried up flowers on the iris in my front yard. I grabbed my phone and took a few pictures. What amazed me is that I was able to get a picture through the screen without the screen showing. First a picture of the screen to show that it really was there.

And here are the ones where I was able to focus on the plant without the screen showing.

They have their own kind of beauty. Sometimes I can do this, if the light and focus are just right. It is quite amazing.

haha.....I love to play around with the camera to see what it will do. Sometimes it is therapy to do things like that.

WOW!!!! The screen doesn't show at all in your pics, Ann, except in the first one. I wonder how that happens. How cool is that?! ~Andrea xoxo

That’s amazing! Isn’t it interesting how things disappear, like your screen, to show what’s beyond them? Great job Ann!

That's pretty amazing. I've taken pictures through a screen but generally it's a bit blurred and you can see it was through a screen. You must have a good lense or know to do a filter?

That is so cool the picture came out! I don't know much about irises. Do they have a long season before they start drying out?
