back to the bathroom
Bright and early Monday morning, Joe the plumber backed into my driveway
Gibbs was not the least bit thrilled with his accommodations for the day but since Joe the plumber was going to be up and down the stairs all day it was necessary to keep him out of the way. He barked constantly all day. Occasionally when the guys would come down the steps they would give him a quick pet to let him know that they heard him loud and clear.
I sat in the basement listening to sawing and pounding for a couple hours. Then he informed me that he needed to run out to pick up a few things. While he was gone Gibbs and I went upstairs to take a look around
Shortly before 2:00 he came down and told me that he was in a good spot to quit for the day. He explained what they had done so far and what would need to be done the next day. He then told me that by the end of Tuesday I should have a working shower. From then it would be just the final touches. Here's where he was at at the end of Monday.

Wow, they installed a whole new shower!!!! We have the tile kind, but I wish we had this seamless one. Yours does not have grout to worry about. It is pretty, and has lots of good shelves as well! A word of cauton about the shelves. They get slippery when wet, and I have broken a bone in my foot from a heavy soap bottle falling off the shelf. And a bottle of shampoo. It is good to put a washcloth or something on the shelf it you have heavy things on it.
Tim Allen, from Home Improvement comes to mind. Poor Gibbs.

That's a nice big shower! Lots of shelves, too! Gibbs was definitely showing his displeasure at being put in a cage!

It's going to be a great shower Ann. Looking good already. Sympathies to Gibbs for his temporary confinement but nice that they give him a pat every now and again. Sounds like nice people.
