Years ago, like more than 20, the bottom of the tub got a small crack. This is how the ex fixed it and Wade never felt the need to improve on that.
Joe the plumber and his assistant, showed up yesterday morning just before 8:00 and worked until a little before 2:00. They'll be back today to do some more and he says that by the end of today I'll have a working shower.

How long have you been without a shower? You have a small bathroom like us. I cannot make out what those lines are on the shower door on the left side.
I'm glad you're getting it fixed. That must be a relief.
This looks exactly like Bob's bathroom except in the back over the tub there's a window to the outside. Same size and he did put tile on the floor in there. My bathroom is even smaller mine is the width of a shower. It looks nice and it's a shame that they had to put in the new tub back the water leak had to be fixed and I'm glad that they're getting it done in 2 days
That is fast work!! I'm sure you will like it.
I am glad things are getting done quickly!
I'm sure you're excited!! When we had a bathroom remodel it was so refreshing.
You'll love it too. Can't wait to see the new and improved.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
We had those exact fixtures in our shower and tub in the house when we lived in town.
Good that the plumbers are working quickly.
Can't wait to see it!
Seems like Joe and his helper are focused on getting the project completed in a timely manner! That can be a relief! Looking forward to seeing the new shower!
betty
How exciting and definitely worth the money! I hope you get a shower door that's easier to clean! I hate my shower door as I never can seem to get the bottom of it where it attaches to the tub clean!
Woohoo for a working shower!
I am looking forward to getting our bathtubs redone but it's going to be a while. Yours is beginning to look great and would love to replace our old tub with a shower. When it's all done you will be thrilled.
