Decisions decisions

So I told you that Amanda and I had stopped to pick up some paint chips last Saturday. Now I need to make a decision on what color I want to paint the bathroom. Unfortunately Amanda picked out way too many choices for me. Then again if I were to pick up just a few more I could probably cover the entire wall with just the paint chips. There are actually a few more that didn't make it in the picture.

Oh my goodness! Well, right off the bat I can see two totally different colors. Greys at the bottom and beiges. So the first thing you need to decide is if you want cool greys or warm beiges.

Gray is really a 'go to' color these days.

I know grays are the go to color but not sure which color I would choose.

I would choose the beige not gray because it goes with the wood of cabinets and floors. I have gray in my kitchen, acres of gray counters. I would not put wood grain on floors, but gray. I am a matchy matchy..

Good grief! That's a lot of choices! I would go with whatever one catches your eye to most!

Lots of choices there. I think I'd go with one of the grays.
Though if it was my room I'd go for a completely different color, blue. :)

From what I've been seeing in trends is that color is going from the greys that we love back to the light tans. I personally like the grey tones much better (but I have a lot of blue in my house) it all depends on your taste and the rest of your home. If you have lots of plants and other natural fibers in your home then the light brown tones would be much better. Go with your heart, not what is trendy to others. Paint it a color that you are going to love each time you walk into that bathroom.

Well, that's overwhelming. Start eliminating and that will help. Do you have a shower curtain or something to direct your color choice?

You'll figure it out. Dump the ones you don't want and that will make your choice easier.

Have a fabulous day off to tomorrow, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

I would go with that lightest beige swatch, the one on the top, because it would go best with your decoration, make it pop.

The colors looks great. Have you decided on one? I seem to be drawn to the grey.

Good luck with your decision! I "suck" at things like this. Not very color coordinated or creative :)

I would be in the same boat. I had a terrible time trying to decide what I wanted last time we decorated. My choice worked out really well thankfully and yours will too I'm sure.
