Impulse buying

My last trip to Walmart I only needed two things. I needed vitamins and bread. I couldn't resist however when I saw the rack of reduced sweaters and noticed they were only $5. One of those went in my cart. I continued through the store picked up the things that I needed and then spotted the winter coats. Our forecast is calling for 6"-8" of the white stuff starting today. The last several years I've been wearing just a fleece jacket with a sweatshirt underneath. Because I've been hearing a lot about how cold this winter is supposed to be I decided to buy myself a winter jacket

I have to say it's quite warm. I feel a little like Nanook of the north in it.

I had one similar from my days of snowy winters in Colorado. They ARE warm. Wise purchase.

Hey. if it keeps you warm, I wouldn't care what it looked like. I like it though and I'll bet it's comfortable!

I have one very similar to yours but in black. It keeps you nice and warm and I love the hood.
I keep hearing it is going to be very cold also. Not sure I'm looking forward to that. Have a great day!

good morning Nanook, could we see a photo of you with the furs UP? this is perfect for your weather that is coming and its good to have it with you in your car in case you get stuck and have to walk or be outside a while. we only have sweaters in our store, not big wooly coats. I will check to see if we have 5 dollar sweaters, i could use a new one since mine are really old and the size I used to wear

It sounds like you might be needing that this year!

Nice! I have a coat almost just like that and it really is warm! You'll be glad you have it although I hope the predictions are wrong!

Those are my favorite kind of winter coats. 84 degrees here, we don't really need coats, but we use them when we travel. :)

Staying warm is so important. Love that jacket. It's cold here, but not your kind of cold.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

It's very cute! I think you will be happier with a warmer coat this winter. I hear that it is going to be a blustery one. I'm not sure what to expect in TN....this is all new to me here.

That should keep you nice and warm.
A few years ago I bought a very warm coat from LL Bean and it is so warm I can't wear it on my walk until the temperature gets down to 20. :)

Great purchase! You need to take care of yourself and stay warm when you're outside. Now, do you need to purchase some new winter boots and gloves . . . treat yourself while there is a selection to choose from :)
