Let there be light.

When I leave for work in the morning it's still dark out. I've been thinking recently that I needed to put some kind of lighting along my sidewalk because when I walk out the door I can barely see where the edge of the porch is. I mean, let's be realistic here, an old lady like me could break a hip. Well it must be that my fairy Godmother was listening to me because like magic the shop that is on the other side of the street put a big spotlight on the side of their building. And if that wasn't enough my next door neighbor has been leaving his outside light on. I've got lights on the left

And I've got lights on the right.

I can easily see my porch now and step off safely

Hard to think of ourselves as old ladies, isn't it?

the house next door is helping us in this way, the workers turned on the outside lights and left them on, they burn day and night. perfect for lighting our back yard for the morning 'bussiness'. your neighbors saved you from spending more money. i would like to have front and back of house motion detectors lights, but not to pay for them

Love it when problems solve themselves.

It's good to have good neighbors. This post made me smile.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

This is great. And you didn't have to do a thing, either!

That is a lot of light! And you are right, it isn't good to step out too much in the dark; not worth falling and breaking a hip for sure!

And that worked out really great. Happy for you! Lighting is so important. I have a bit of a thing about it. I won't tell you how many flashlights I own, LOl!
