The original plan last Saturday was to go to a large craft show in Erie and a small one that is the church a stones throw away from my house.
Saturday morning came and Amanda sent me a text asking if I knew that the craft show in Erie had a $5 admission fee which I did. I told her I didn't really feel like going though and wouldn't be heartbroken if she didn't want to. She said she was only going because she didn't want to hurt my feelings.
The craft show at the church was still on my list of things to do. In the meantime I found another one that was in Jefferson Ohio at the high school and it was free. We decided to go to that one.
I went to the church one and bought some holiday scented wax melts from a woman I know that makes candles and the melts. Then I went and picked Amanda up.
I took exactly one picture while we were out
I actually thought I took a second picture at the craft show but it wasn't on my phone. The only thing I bought at this craft show were two chocolate covered pretzel rods. What can I say, I wanted a snack.

Sounds like a really fun day. You never know what you will find! And those dipped pretzel rods are no small thing, yum!
The main thing is to have a good time. ❤️
I hate paying to be allowed to.shop and spend money! But it does sound like a good day.
Actually, sounds like you both enjoyed a peaceful, fun day!

good choice, free is always the best.. the tree in your one photo looks a little sad in a dreary hall. like is a token tree... about the thought you took a photo. yesterday I was taking photos of something in the back yard and took 3, its blinding sun outside and I came it to see what I got and there were no photos at all.... hummmmm
there was a SEVEN STORY CRANE in the back yard behind us, the wind was howling as a cold front came in and I just new it would fall on our house. it did not. I do have upteen dozen photos though
This sounds like a wonderful day and the good thing is that you didn't have to pay an admission fee to be able to enjoy it. A change of plans sometimes yields a better chance of enjoying a fabulous day. Glad you found the gift and now, you are one step ahead. I would have most likely purchased the chocolate covered pretzel rod too.
I think you and Amanda made the perfect decision for your Saturday plans. When you are with each other it doesn't matter what you do...everything is fun.
Hugs to you and Gibbs

It seems unfair to charge entry for a craft market where they want your money for their goods. Not wild about pretzels and can't imagine choc ones.
