I'm so sick of snow

Last Saturday we had yet more snow. I watched as the neighbor across the street snow blowed his driveway. This one lives next door to the other neighbor who has a snowblower.

When he was done, he did the sidewalk on his side of the street all the way up to the corner. After that, he did my next-door neighbor’s driveway. We’re talking about the one who moved. I believe before he moved. He asked the young guy across the street if he would keep his driveway clear for him. After he was done with the next-door neighbor’s driveway, he went back into his house.

I decided that I would wait until afternoon to go out and shovel my driveway. While I was sitting there watching TV I heard a noise and when I looked out, there was Stephen, my son‘s friend plowing my driveway again.

I don’t have to tell you how pleased I was to see him out there. I wasn’t able to go out and thank him in person, but I did send him a text message thanking him and telling him I thought he was awesome.

yay for Stephen, a real treasure... I read your title to Bob, it reminded him of throwing down the snow shovel in PA in 1970 and saying I am so sick of snow, this is my last year in it. and by the next snow fall he was here in Florida.. I am so happy for you that he dug you out

I'm so happy to hear there was someone to dig you out. We've even had a lot of snow this year and that doesn't happen often.

What a wonderful thing for this young man to do. He is a Blessing to you. Reminds me of my grandsons...this is what they would have done.

How wonderful to have Stephen plow your driveway. Sorry you've had so much snow. It is not my thing either. We've been fortunate so far this winter to not have any but that could change.

Popping in from Rambling English Girl. You have more snow than we do in Fargo. Love your card you made! Quite elegant! Not many of us card makers around anymore. I'm a new follower. :)
