Monday Madness

Not really so much madness going on today but it is Monday. We actually reached 60 degrees today but with lots of rain. Tonight and tomorrow it's supposed to get cold and turn to snow. Oh, well I guess there is some madness in there after all.
I'll just console myself while you look at another result of my play time over the weekend.

Excuse for why I haven't done much this weekend. As a matter of fact I have several of them.

• I have a case of the blah's and I'm resting up until my energy level is back in check.
• I spent time with my photoshop elements doing some experimenting a.k.a creative, mindless, time killing

OK, so maybe I only have two. Hey it's better than nothing.

In search of sunrise

I was out early this morning and on my way back home the sun was coming up. Since the view of any sunrise or sunset from home is always blocked by other houses, I took the opportunity to search out  a better location. I took a little detour on a side road.

It took me all of 5 minutes out of my way but it did a world of wonder for my spirit. I took the picture and drove back home with a smile on my face. What started off as a good morning turned into a glorious one.

Hooked

I'm on a crochet kick and I can't stop. I'm totally hooked, for now. Knowing my attention span this could end tomorrow.
I bought a book called 150 knit and crochet motifs. I found the cute little flowers in the book and started making a few.

Then I got this bright idea to make a whole bunch of them and make a table runner. I don't want a white runner though so I got an off white color. This next picture is still of the white ones and I haven't trimmed the ends off of them yet.

Hopefully I don't lose interest or get distracted by something else before I finish this. I have way too many projects that get started and sit forever waiting for me to get back to them. I believe I even have a box in the basement that has a few things I started years ago. Well I've got 14 flowers done, just a half a bazillion left to go.

How about you? When you start a project (any kind, not necessarily craft project) do you see it all the way through to the end or do you get distracted, lose interest and move on to something else?
