Weekend part 2

Thanks to Duke wanting to snitch on me for not giving him any bacon yesterday I'm a day late with the second part of my weekend report. He's so spoiled. What he didn't tell you was I gave him double treats since he didn't get any of my breakfast. I was seriously only thinking of his health here. I didn't want him to have all that grease that could clog his little white westie arteries.
That's my defense and now on to the rest of my weekend.
I started out much the same as Saturday with the hot coffee and the laptop. I just love it when I can casually cruise through the early morning hours reading blogs and sipping coffee.
After breakfast I went for the Wii workout.
I haven't played with a hoola hoop in years so imagine how much fun I had when I discovered that it was going to be part of my workout.

Ok so maybe 230 spins isn't so good but this was the first time I tried it and I did do better the second time. I think I was spinning 6 hoops at once. I was giggling through the whole thing.

I actually spent more time than this on it today because after I took this picture I went in and customized my workout and then went through it.
I also played a little super Mario.
I tried to do some crafting but the only thing I accomplished there was making a big mess. I guess it's just not there right now.
I pulled out the camera when I spotted a ton of birds in the backyard. I'll save them for tomorrow though.

It's just not fair

Don't you just hate it when you sit patiently waiting for something good and you don't get it?
Mom and dad were having this for breakfast this morning.

I sat quietly waiting. I was very patient, I didn't whine a bit.

And they didn't give me any. Can you believe that?

You are writing this down for future reference aren't you? If it happens again I want to know who to file my complaint with.

Weekend part 1

Nothing beats waking up in the morning and knowing that it's Saturday. I didn't even mind when I looked out the back window and saw this.

Of course, come Monday morning I'm hoping that this will all be gone. (keep dreaming)

I casually started my day with a cup of hot coffee and my laptop. We headed to the store mid morning for a few necessities and few not so necessary things. Wouldn't you know it the two frivolous items I was going to buy for myself could not be found in the store.
Back home for a little bit of this

and a lot of sitting around doing not so much.

Oh and I almost forgot the best part. Last night I finally got the furniture moved back and the floor cleaned up in the living room.
Look there's Duke waiting by the front door to greet you. Come on in, sit a spell.

Still one day left to go. I wonder what I'll do next.

The season for freazin

By George I think I've got it! I'm not in a slump at all. What has happened here is quite obvious. My ambition, energy, enthusiasm and creativity have simply been caught in the deep freeze.

Finally it's Friday and I plan on not planning anything. I'm going to take the weekend and do just whatever seems to be right for the moment. If I feel like cleaning, I'll clean. If I feel like shopping, I'll shop. If I feel like taking a nap on the couch with a little white someone then that's exactly what I'll do. There are no requirements, no expectations, no rules no regulations. I have two glorious days off from work and I intend to enjoy them as much as humanly possible.
