For an adult baptism

One of the churches ordered this cake for last Sunday to celebrate an adult baptism.

Begonia by gosh

I know I've already shown pictures of my begonia that Amanda gave me for my birthday but now it has two different colored flowers on it

Out of control

Every morning I leave for work and I look at the Forsythia on the side of my house and think they are out of control and I need to trim them when I get back home.

 

Every afternoon I get home from work and look at the Forsythia and think it's not going to happen today. One of these days I do need to get out there and take care of them because they really are out of control

Another cake

Holy smokes, it's August already. This year is just flying by. I don't think I like how fast time is moving. Since there's nothing I can do about that lets just move on to the subject of todays post. 

This was an order for a full sheet cake. The woman who ordered it said she wanted all colors. Since she didn't name any color specifically my definition of all colors is what you see here. I limited it to what colors I already had mixed.

I'm just now noticing how crooked the writing is on this cake. The words "congratulations Val" are on a definite slope. I can't believe I didn't see it before.
