Bullseye

Wade recently joined a dart league. He'll be spending his Monday evenings in a pink shirt throwing little darts at a board. He wanted to practice during the week so I bought him the only dartboard I could find when I was out shopping the other day.

Thinking back to days long ago when I was a kid trying to win one of those cheapo prizes at carnivals by breaking balloons with a dart, I always assumed that I just couldn't throw the darn things. Wade hung his board and asked if I wanted to play.  Just look what I can do.
I admit this one was staged but I did actually hit the bullseye a couple of times and I even managed to beat Wade.

Uh oh!! Looks like you need to join the league instead of Wade!! Not only because you may be better than him, but those pink shirts!! I had a dart board as a teenager and loved it, looks like yours is electric!

We have the same dart board. We bought it because while we were dating we started playing darts. I had never really played much. I always liked shooting pool more. Anyway, I wanted to practice at home so I could beat him when we're out. LOL! I think you should join that the league with him. :)

ops! You beat him? hehehehehehe I am sure with "practise" he'll do great. Enjoying is part of the game too.

Did you do a little bunny-hop when you hit the bullseye? I always did, which might explain why I was never invited to join a league. Sigh.

we had a dart board, back in the day when games were not computers. i loved to throw darts, have not done it in many years. I am thinking you should get yourself a pink shirt and go with him. or is it a MAN thing only?

Lots of fun games to play on this. I had a boars bristle board(the best) when I lived in AZ hanging on my palm tree.

This brings back memories! My brother and I used to play at home. Our old dartboard was made of cork and disintigrated quickly ;-)

We had a great time when we had a dart board. Love the artistic last shot--even if it was staged!

It sounds like you are a dart shark. Maybe you should join the league too (although you might cramp Wade's style).

That is terrific. You and Wade should be a team. What fun. That does look like great fun. Take care.

We bought one at Christmas a few years ago, but I'm certainly no good at it.

Pretty cool. I could never hit one of those. I am so unbelievably clumsy, it would be dangerous in my house.

Now you have to teach Duke :)

Maybe you can fill in when they are short someone! I love darts. Haven't played in a couple of years though. It's addicting.

I'm sure you beating Wade at darts just made him feel all warm and fuzzy about being on a league. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

That looks a smart dart board .... over here they are made of either cork or coiled paper with metal wire separating the sections. The darts have feather flights rather like arrows .... it can be quite fun especially if you're aim is good!
