Something I want to share.

Last week I read a post on Erika's blog Artful Rising. It was entitled Cards for Children-Project Embrace. In Erika's own words Project Embrace is a call to follow your passion and to help others with your talent. Her first craft challenge asks that you create cards that will be donated to Ronald McDonald House to help families dealing with health crisis.
I immediately jumped on this one and have already sent her a package with some of my cards. I know that not all of you are interested in crafts of any kind but I know some of you are. Knowing the good hearted nature of the blogging community I wanted to share this so that those who are able to can participate and help Erika out with this.
Stop on over at Erika's blog and read more about it.

I'm in the process of making cards to send to Erika! I've never made cards before so this has been quite an experience but it's for such a great cause I couldn't pass it up. It's wonderful you are participating too!

Great project - thanks for letting us know and thanks for helping! How did your arts and crafts fair go? (or did I miss it?) I'm so disoriented being preoccupied with the new arrival today! Weezie will be here sometime this afternoon...I'm nervous and excited, hoping and praying Gizzy will be a gentleman and be nice to her and eventually come to love her too cuz she's just so adowable ;-)
How's Duke?

fantastic idea, and you are so creative, your cards will be a big hit. i like the idea of sharing the talents we have with others to help others. Karen of What Karen Sees, is a photographer, and she did a post last year about going to homeless centers and taking photos of family's and their kids who might never get a professional photo to remember kids by. there are many ways to use talents for helping others.
