Charmed

Years ago my mother bought me a charm bracelet. I don't think I ever wore it and there are only 3 charms on it.
These days my charm bracelet is a Pandora that I got from my mother in law a couple years ago for Christmas.

Not all of the beads on my Pandora bracelet are real Pandora beads (those suckers are expensive) but I like it anyway.
Did  you know that charms go back as far as the Neolithic era? Want to know a little history about charms and charm bracelets? If so then check out this link
If not then that's all for today :) See you tomorrow

I think they are both equally beautiful! Why don't you wear the one your mom gave you? When I was a teenager I had one of the coin charm bracelets and I just loved it. Sadly, I don't know whatever happened to it.

Thanks for the link — I so enjoy reading these ancient era stories. There is a little camera on your bracelet, isn't it? :)

don't know what a pandora bracelet is, but now I do, i love the little camera. charm bracelets were really popular when i was in high school late fifties, i had a fake one that came with a lot of charms on it, always wanted a real one, but now that i could have one, i can't stand wearing jewelery of any kind other than my two rings. i like the little crystal box and the photos came out beautiful

How pretty! LOL, love the camera charm! Its good to see them making a comeback right now. I remember when the bracelets were all the rage when I was a youngster!

These are very pretty. I figure that any kind of bead that is shown on billboards for a jeweler is probably going to cost more than I want to spend. I do have a James Avery silver charm bracelet my husband got me after I had the kids.

Charm bracelets were popular when I was a kid but I was never into them...aside from my birthday nothing significant to commemorate...your camera charm tho is perfect! What no Westie charm?

What a great history charm bracelets have. I didn't know any of this but it sure makes sense.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I like the idea of Pandora bracelets, but I'd probably never wear one.

I have a charm bracelet that I started when I was a little girl and I still try to collect charms from wherever I travel to remind me of the trip. I started one for Em too when she was little and hers is LOADED! I love charms although I don't really like the pandora ones--I like the old-fashioned ones because I think they are more 3 dimensional.

my name is cheryl and I am a pandora-ahollic :)

I must say I am ADDICTED to these adorable beads...I have a silver bracelet and a leather one. Both are full of Pandors charms and all but 3 were gifts (great for me cause, as you say, they are expensive)

looks like you have some gold ones but mine are all silver so far....in my dreams I own the crown :) which is over $900 (yikes)

Very pretty Ann! I have an old silver charm bracelet filled with dangly charms from when I was a young girl. I look at it every once in awhile. Now I have a Pandora knock-off bracelet with one real Pandora bead, some Persona beads, and a couple of other knock-offs. I think all the beads are pretty. No matter the brand name. Love the little camera bead - cute!

I had a charm bracelet in jr hi- I tried being a "girl" for about a year- gave it up as not sustainable. Wonder if I still have the bracelet. I sure don't remember what charms were on it, although I remember shopping for some of them. Mostly because my mother had such hopes that I might be a little more feminine.

Ah, I used to have a charm bracelet, but had forgotten about it. I bet I still have it somewhere in this house! My aunt had the coolest one... every charm moved in some way. Your photos are gorgeous!

Both bracelets are very nice. I have a Pandora like bracelet because yes the real thing is very expensive.
