I have the answer

You've seen a bit of my bird collection but I've never shown you the collection that came after that. I don't know who started this but I suppose someone felt that since I liked birds it was only natural that I would also like eggs. I think I might have about a dozen different ones. Fitting number don't you think?
Here's 3 of them
So based on the two collections that I have I can assume that the answer to the age old question "what came first the chicken or the egg", the answer would be the chicken.

On another note I have to tell you about the background for today and yesterdays picture. I was in a store which shall remain nameless, looking for poster board to use as a backdrop in my light box. I spotted this stuff and it screamed spring at me and I had to buy it.

The age old question finally answered...thanks Ann! Love that background. So what is it?

A very nice back drop Ann and some lovely eggs. Have to admit I'm not much into collections myself...I hate cleaning them..lol!!

As for the question...I thin the egg came first...sure something 'layed' it...but the finality of a chicken I think would have come out of the egg...not the creature that laid it...just something else to think about!!

Thank you for the comment on my poem :-)

I have an egg collection myself. My love started with the sugar Easter eggs that you could peer into. Something about them is so simple, perfect, and beautiful. I love spring!

now i have to know what that background is, is it poster board? don't think so. it really makes a great back ground, i loved the one with the juice. i like the solid egg best, is it a candy dish? your blog looks so festive and is ready for the Duke bunny to come.

Would that biggest one be an Easter egg?

Well, now we know the answer! Thanks for clearing it up, LOL. The roses on that one egg sure are pretty! And the background paper is gorgeous! I've use fabric for a lot of my backgrounds.

I like the plain one with a rabbit on a spring. That background is cool. Is it fabric?

Those are beautiful eggs and yes, the back drop colors are very beautiful and much more fun than just plain white. One of these days, I'll have to make a light box.

In reply to your comment about Weezie and Romeow's ignoring one another...well, they do for the most part, or at least Weezie does mostly ignore him, but he loves his Nana Weezie and can't understand why she's being stand offish all of a sudden?

How's little Duke?
