When frustration sets in
Over the past weekend I tried to redo my blog background and header. I'm just not liking the way it is. Well no matter what I did it just wasn't working so I gave up and played
The original, straight off the camera picture is the top left and from there it's a variety of things I tried.

I love your design. I am the same way with mine. I'm constantly changing its look. Well, I used to anyway -- lately I haven't even been posting much. I know what you mean about getting bored with things. I think I'm developing adult ADD.
However, I could never get bored with Duke. :)
I bore easily too - that's why I have tons of projects going on at the same time :)
Ann! I just adore your designs...all of them! I've always got a zillion different projects going on. I was switching my blog design up all the time using the premade templates found on the net, but I finally went and paid for the latest one. It is not exactly what I wanted...the quotes I got on those were $300 and up!! So, for now, I will stick with what I have. Of course, you know that anything with Duke's face on it is a WIN for me!!
Actually, I like the new look - it's cute! (what's wrong with it?) I like the last two shots that you piddled with. Something about those misted edges (although maybe it's just 'cause my brain is foggy and I can relate... *grin*)
I would suggest Metamucil, but you might consider that way out-of-line. So, I won't.

These photos are beautiful! If this is what you create when bored, I think you should remain bored :) I love the composition and the colors as well as the textures. Lovely!
It looks very good as it is. Don't let on to Duke that you don't like it. :-)
I change mine a lot too. I don't like the pre-made templates at all. They generally have a childish look to them and are too ornate, so I stick to the Simple Template that blogger has on their designer and make tweaks to it... AND I change my header daily... well, almost daily. LOL
been there done that on the bored with things in PS... i like the last two best... maybe you and i were bored with it because we are sick. hope you feel better today.

You're not the only one that get's bored. I am always moving on to new crafts and idea's, there's nothing wrong with that. Worry when you sit staring at the walls. lol

As for the boredom...it might be the approaching spring season...I usually get like that as we inch out of the dark season :)
I hate it when you can't get your blog to look the way you want it to. At least you found something else to entertain yourself with besides Duke. Just saying.

I like the design (especially the large photo of Duke). It's amazing how many things you can do with images on the computer.
I like your header and new blog look. I don't ever get bored so maybe that's why I don't know how to work Photoshop! :)
I bet I have 6 projects in my closet that I got bored with. So we understand. By the way we really like the header.
Also I think we have been taken off the reader because we are not a blogger blog. Don't know what to do about that. Take care.

I actually took your lead and set up a fake blog to practice my layout skills. I have to say, that I am really learning as I go along. LOVE the tutorials on YouTube!

I get bored with things easily myself, but it's fun playing with them while I do.
