The nice thing about all this crafting I've been doing is it's giving me plenty of subjects for blog posts.
I've got a nice supply of grubby tea lights ready for the craft show. I did these two different ways. First I was brushing them with mod podge, sprinkling on cinnamon and then giving them another layer of mod podge. Then I came across directions for an easier way to do them. Wish I would have rememberd where I read it so I could give them credit for this idea. If I find it I"ll update later. Any how, I covered the flame tip with masking tape, spray painted the white tea light black. Next a squirt or two of a spray adhesive and sprinkle on some cinnamon.
They aren't completely covered in the cinnamon but with the black paint it works.
The first batch of these that I did I didn't wear gloves. Big mistake. Not only did I get black spray paint on my hands but when I sprayed on the spray adhesive I was a sticky mess. Lesson learned.
I also made some tags to put on some of my stuff. I used a brown card stock, cut the tags out with my cricut. These got a little bit of coffee and spice staining then I drew on the black lines, added some glitter paint and a string.

Wish I could be there!
I think the two different styles of candles look great together. The tags are lovely too though it must have took ages to pen those lines!!
super cool on the tags...are they to sell? or will you be using them to price your items? do the candles smell good to?
You are so darn creative!!!! Even the tags are cute!...:)JP
You're on a roll, getting ready for that craft show! Great job.
Well done Ann! You are re-energized with this crafting bug. xo

You're really doing it up for the show. I love it. I can't wait to see your booth all set up. Awesome. Keep up the great work.

Wondered if these would retain their smell very long
Adorable!
I love folk art sorta stuff--this is right up my alley! I'm guessing these will fly off the shelves!
This was rather uncomfortable for me after you sending me a link to watch that commercial.
Those are so cute! I would buy those. You have got to take a photo of your booth when your show. I can't wait to see it all come together!
They look really yummy. I can't do these at my house because my sons probably think they are brownies and eat them. :)
they look cool, you have so many cool ideas
LOVE the tags! I think packaging is so important when you're doing a craft show. Fun tags are a great touch!
You sure have been busy!!
I love those tags! I'll have to remember that for Christmas gift tags (like on loaves of bread to ID them)
