I walked as fast as I could up the street to my house, ran in and grabbed my purse and keys and drove back down the street.
Here's what I brought home
The doilies were marked 25 cents each and I grabbed 4 of them.
The little ladder was 50 cents. I gave it a bath when I got it home and I think I'm going to paint it.
The fabrics which were about a yard each were marked 75 cents and 1 dollar
The wood embroidery hoops were 10 cents each. I took all of them (a total of 15) When I was checking out I counted the hoops for the lady and I counted 18. I must have had a few that were separated. I paid an extra 30 cents but I'm not complaining.
The shutters were 3 for 2 dollars. I plan on painting and decorating those.
My grand total was $7.05. Not bad for all that stuff.
I was tempted to go back for a few other things I spotted. They had so much stuff marked at just 50 cents. I showed a little self control though and was happy with what I got

I love finding hings like this! We have a lot of yard sales around here on Saturday mornings. What a great haul!
Awesome finds! You can never have too many embroidery hoops. And I love those vintage shutters! Wish I could find some of those here!
super duper yard sale and wow on the prices. they were determined to get rid of it all.. that ladder was the deal of the day...
Great job on the yard sale Ann!! The prices were just right!! I have been to a few yard sales...but not lately. One time I purchased almost everything they had! :) You got some great bargains!
I go out every weekend almost but usually don't come home with a lot
Good score!
See, now to me that's just a lot of stuff, maybe even junk, especially the fabric, I hate plaid - but to a creative person like you those are all wondrous things to transform into pretties...
Great finds! Have you seen the gypsy wind catchers made with a doilie, a hoop and ribbon. Check them out on Pinterest.
And you're going to show the finish project when you're done right? I hope so. You did well for under 10 bucks.
Have a terrific day. Big hug to you and my very best to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
I was at a sale like that this Friday. She had oil lamps for 2 and 4 dollars and I got an index card box, a pretty pedestal dish and some salt and peppers. I actually bought things for a nickel and she was so nice, I always ask to see if there is a story behind the sale. She was needing to move closer to her son. She had a beautiful rugosa rose in the front yard, everything well kept. That's why I often stop....just to see the yard and chat a bit.
I say it was well worth it to go home for your purse! Great bargains and I look forward to seeing what becomes of them in your crafty hands!
I'm proud of you Ann ... I would have done the same thing! Enjoy your new finds and can't wait to see what you create.
Those are some great finds.....way to go!
What bargains, I can't resist if I see anything thrown out and love a bargain. All those hoops, I can see you will do something with those.

Glad you decided to check it out! Great finds!
Sweet haul! You certainly got some good stuff. It's always hit or miss at those things.
Isn't it fun to find stuff you want at such good prices. Can't wait to see what you create with your finds.
You found a nice treasure trove. I would have had to see everything there, too.
