Yesterday when I left work I was finding it hard to believe that it was actually October 22. The temperature was a warm 77 and the sun was shining. When I got home I took my camera outside in the front yard. The sky was such a beautiful blue that I had to take a picture of the turning leaves.
Even though the tree in my front yard has turned colors and lost most of it's leaves it looks like the rest of the street is holding on to summer

Your edit is gorgeous! And yes! We have been watching them dance in the wind. They look like birds.
Aren't these temps just insane??? We can't believe it either! We are at least twenty degrees above normal for this time of year. But, it can just stay like this...we would not mind in the least!! LOVE that pic of the BLUE sky!!
I love dancing leaves in the wind and love to burn them in a pile... it does look like summer is lingering. I just saw CA is having triple digit temps and more fires are starting. we finally have a cool front coming Tuesday morning. 65 at wake up and 76 for high which is perfect
Great pictures Ann, love that blue sky. Have a great day.
Great photos and edit of the leaf! It's going to be 100 here today and tomorrow. Cray-cray!
Its hard to believe seeing your street view with so many green trees! Beautiful blue sky though!
Nice edit...
pretty!!!
I love both the original and the edited lone leaf!! AND the quote!!!!
I turned the heater on last night. It was cold. You're right though it's pretty warm for the end of October.
I love the quote about leaves. It's spot on.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Everything is still green here! I hate it - I want to see beautiful colors! Love your pic and quote.
Beautiful sky blue but I think the rain is heading our way tonight and into tomorrow. Have a good one.
