Yesterday was another wonderful weather day. I should have gotten out and taken a walk but I stayed inside and contemplated what I wanted to do with my day. I've been wanting to make a banner for Valentines day so I played around with that a little bit.
I had the heart on the left and all the letters done but couldn't decide what to put on the last piece. I settled for the roses I made a while back. After I hung it and took the pictures it occurred to me that I should have just put a heart on each end piece.
When I was done but I considered making a second one with XOXO on it but unfortunately the mojo was gone.

Wow, I love it! It is even prettier than the ones I have seen in stores. I think a heart on each end would look too manufactured, I love just this way.
Very pretty. I love your crafts.
Have a fabulous day at work, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
your mojo worked well on your day off. it really is pretty.. I am like you, I get mojo and do something and then mojo and I can't do it again or anything. we do need our mojo.
I think you spent one person's entire mojo on this banner, Ann. It is absolutely DARLING!! I love it.... and you! ~Andrea xoxo
It's perfect just the way it is (but I am more enamored with the wood mantlepiece that it is pinned to.)
True...making all these need mojo. Me too once mojo gone then wont feel like continueing. Anyway, these are very awesome banner
all you need is love, like the idea.I haven't eaten any valentine candy yet.
Well that came out really cute!
Thanks. I used my cricut to cut all the banner pieces so it really did all the hard work.
Thanks. You guys are my biggest fans :)
Thanks. I really wish I could sit down more and do things like this. I have ideas running through my head but sitting down and doing them is a whole nother thing. I can't get myself to do them
Thanks. I'm with you, that carving in the wood is awesome. I've always loved the way it looks
I found that if I try to force it, the things I make will not be their best.
I'm thinking I'll have to buy myself a box of chocolates this year. Maybe wait until the day after though so I can get them discounted
I like it very much!!!
I love it too, and you're smart not to push it when your mojo is gone. Taking breaks is as important to the creative process as doing things is. I love Brenda Ueland's,
"So you see, imagination needs moodling — long, inefficient, happy idling, dawdling and puttering."
We need a balance.
Have a great day!
Thanks
Thanks. I found that if I push myself to make something when I'm not in the mood, it really shows in the end product.
and just one, is better than just half done - it's completed, you can feel proud, I'm proud with how it looks...
The banner is really cute!
That is so true. Believe me, I've had plenty of half done projects over the years.
