A wild and crazy Friday night

Who knew that the life of a widow could be so wild and crazy. You would not believe the Friday evening I had. There was spinning and tumbling and a little shake and shimmy. I couldn't believe I had the energy for all of that after working all day. I guess since my cold is getting a little better I felt like letting loose.

Are you shocked at my behavior? Well I was too but at least I got the laundry done and the floors are finally mopped.

Well thank you. With it just being me I have no one to blame if it's a mess so I need to keep it clean...lol
The throw on the couch was a Christmas gift from Wades oldest son

This cracked me up! Way to go girl!!!

I am such a procrastinator, and have only myself for the mess. You are an inspiration. These glimpses into you home are lovely.

Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady

I love that throw and I love your floors. You've a beautiful home. I knew you weren't out on the town. My first thought was you cleaned your craft room. I think I know you pretty well.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

So my first thought was...what was Gibbs' reaction to all this?

Looking marvelous! I secretly think you've been hitting that NAKED stuff again - I'm gonna have to try it! You've inspired me now (I still have the 2 hardest rooms to clean...a little NAKED energy drink may do the 'trick'. I'll see if Bud agrees.

The nice part is that it stays clean when you do it. I like that part of the kids being out of the house now.

Sometimes, it just feels good to get things cleaned up. Must have felt good after you got done. Ann, have a good weekend in your nice clean house.

The throw was a Christmas gift from Wade's son and his wife.
I wish I would have cleaned my craft room but no, it's still a mess...lol

I still have some of Wades' things that haven't been packed up and I can't bring myself to do it yet. I will some day

Ann said...

LOL, I'll let people speculate on the NAKED thing

I always blamed the kids for the mess then when they were gone I was horrified to discover there were still messes. I guess I had learned a few bad habits from them. Now that it's just me, it does stay pretty clean though. Well except for the craft room

It was nice having it done. Bad part is that today there are paw prints all over that floor again.

Because I don't have official craft room - my little pad, is quite untidy - I also have very mini utility rooms which just overwhelm if they are too untidy... however, I also do not have any body making "paw prints" - you place looks easy to clean...

Ann said...

It's easy to clean so long as I don't let it get out of control. I tend to pile things up and say I'll put it away later. I need to start putting things away as I go.
I complain about the paw prints but honestly I'm glad they are there. The house would be far too quiet without them.
