Just rambling

For a vacation day I sure did a lot of work. Of course I made sure to get a VERY leisurely start to the day. I think I spent the first two hours sitting in front of my computer drinking coffee.
Once I got dressed and moving I started cleaning. I got the whole house cleaned and also did my laundry. Later in the day I mowed the lawn.

I put together a card that I had cut the pieces for on Thursday. I never did get a picture of it but maybe I'll have one for tomorrow.

Oh my gosh...you wore me out! I remember those days when I could go like that. Used to clean my brothers four bedroom / three bath house, top to bottom in four hours. Took me two days to dust three pieces of furniture the other day and I just stopped with that! You are a busy woman. Glad you took some time for computer play and coffee then later crafting. Makes the heart feel good for you time.

I need some of your energy! Laughing at Pam it took her two days to dust three pieces of furniture.

Believe me I've had days where it takes hours to accomplish the smallest of chores. I don't often get this burst of energy and ambition but when I do I take full advantage of it.

me to on the three days to dust from pam, still giggling. I can remember a time when I cleaned everything in the house before noon, floors and dusting and laundry, the whole shebang. not now..... I know you feel better with all the work done. and now you can play and not feel guilty for 2 hours and coffee on the puter. Bob said a few days ago, you are always on the computer. I answered and where are you when I am on it. Sitting in front of the TV so what is the difference???

Wow you have energy! I could never do all this in one day. But then again, you are younger than me. I know it is a lot easier when you are off and can take your time.

Sometimes doing what seems to be a whole lot, and is, doesn't feel like it. You just kinda move on from one thing to another and it all flows together and ends with a nice sense of accomplishment, pleasantly tired but not exhausted and still smiling.

Good for you for starting out leisurely rather than worrying about a To-Do list. That's probably why you felt so inspired. Hurray for you!

I don't have the energy often so when I do I take advantage of it

Yes, exactly

I do seem to work better when I don't have a definite plan

Ann said...

Now that sounds like a plan :)

Yes, and hopefully I'll find plenty to keep me busy or at least occupied enough to not get bored.

You've been busy, Ann! I quite like cleaning the house, which is a good thing because it is never ever done :-)
