The first six

I told you the other day that I'm working on making my Christmas cards for this year. I have six done so far. These are a pretty simple card, nothing overly fancy. They are all the same with one small exception. The words Merry Christmas was stamped in green on half of the cards and red on the other half.

I have enough of the patterned paper to do six more just like these. Then I may do some additional ones that require a little more effort, maybe a pop up type card.

I noticed that the tins of sweet were stacked up in the supermarket the other day, I am not a fan of Christmas and it really annoys me. I know, I'm a grumpy old woman, lol

I really like these...have you ever did the thing where you use fancy paper napkins and cling wrap to make cards?

I think I lean slightly to the red writing. both are pretty... nothing like getting prepared.. and having fun doing it. next week you can do VALENTINES. lol

Oh my you are rocking right along. I really need to consider getting up off my back side and start on mine...difference, I paint on and have prints made! Those are great.

They are awesome! Do you have anything printed on the inside or do you hand write something.

Thank you.

I hate how the stores rush the holidays. By the time Christmas is here I'm sick of seeing it. They're completely taken away from the true meaning.

Well thank you

Thanks. You may get this one or you may get something that requires a little more effort. We'll see how ambitious I get.

Your cards are always fantastic. If I could paint like you do I might give that a try.

Thanks. I think you have an excuse not to do yours just yet. One handed card making can be tricky...lol

I'm very impressed, you're way ahead of the season so you shouldn't have any trouble getting them done and your friends and family will treasure your cards.
You're such a sweetie!

now when you send out your cards this year, everyone will know you've been creative and not just lounging around doin' nothin'

Ann said...

Thanks. If I didn't start now they would never be done in time

Ann said...

Well I have been lounging around doing nothing but at least the cards will help hide that fact...lol
